If you have received a certificate of completion for an on-demand, 2-hour training in the past, you are not eligible to receive another certificate for the same course title again, even if it has been a year or more since you last completed the training.

If your certificate does not appear in your profile, you have not met completion requirements. For completed on-demand courses, certificates will be available under your profile. If you can’t find it, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Profile (top right).
  2. Select My Certificates under Miscellaneous.
  3. Click Download.

Kid Citizens: Cultivating Civic Engagement with PBS Kids

Everyone, even children, can be active and contributing members of their communities. When children work together as members of a group, conduct themselves responsibly, and develop conflict-resolution skills, they begin to understand ideas at the heart of government and the democratic process. In this 2-hour on-demand training, with the help of PBS Kids, early childhood educators will learn ways to foster good citizenship and instill a sense of community in the child care setting.
